'Come and See' Weekend

As we had no pilgrims for the October Weekend, we organised a different sort of retreat, with spiritual input from Preb Rosémia, and Michael Bolley.
The 16 people who attended valued the worship, the time for reflection, the 'faith walk' in pairs, the relaxed informality of talking with other cursillistas and getting to know the community at a deeper level, and considering the treasures Cursillo has to offer to the wider Church.
They came away feeling refreshed and encouraged to further the work of Cursillo. Several more people came for the closing service on Sunday, and all were very moved by the testimonies from Mark and Stuart, telling how the unique feature of Cursillo - its method by which we continually support each other in our faith and actions - had played a fundamental part in their journey to the priesthood.
